Runping & Partners (R&P) donated RMB 180,000 to a primary school in a poor area in Hunan Province, a midland in PRC to reconstruct its playground in August 2010, thereby made a significant contribution for improving local teaching condition.

Lifuta Bayi Primary School (former name: Lifuta Complete Primary Shool), located in Sangzhi County, a remote area of western Hunan, it is a complete primary school with boarding house for accommodating minority students with the aid of PLA soldiers and civilians, the school had achieved good score in education and learning field in Sangzhi county, but the playground, tables and chairs, and students’ dormitory were worn out, the school were in urgent need of improving its teaching facilities.

The donation of R&P were allocated for rebuilding playground and student center, renovating tables and chairs, as well as refurbishing students’ dormitory. The renovation and refurbishment were complete on November 2013.

R&P President Liu Guiping attended the reconstruction inauguration ceremony of Lifuta Bayi Primary School, with a presence of Mr Liang Yue, vice director-general of Poverty Alleviation Office of State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), party secretary of Sangzhi County and headmaster of the primary school. The teachers and students frankly expressed their gratitude, and local news and media also praised the donation of R&P had made great contribution to the county-level education.

R&P has been keen to public welfares and provided financial aid to students in poor mountainous area in Kweichow Province, southwest China annually since the firm was established in 2003.
